Does Mr. Taylor do concerts?
Gary Taylor does make special appearances and performs from
time to time in his home of Southern California. Mr. Taylor, along with being a consummate
artist, is also a songwriter, producer and businessman. Much of his time is consumed in
bringing quality music from inception to delivery. Nevertheless, Morning Crew is currently
working on the Gary Taylor concert schedule for 2001.

Why isn’t Gary’s music more accessible?
The present climate in the music industry is to push and
sell flavor of the month hits. Big titles with big names, big budgets and big
advertisement require much less work for retailers than promoting quality, well-thought
out, unique and meaningful music. Morning Crew promises you (the fan) that Gary Taylor
CD’s will be available to you at this site and we will soon bring other artists who
also share our high standards.
I’ve heard this song by Vanessa Williams called
"My Flame." Is that Gary Taylor singing in the background?
As a gesture of friendship and a request from Vanessa
Williams, Gary Taylor arranged and produced the Bobby Caldwell tune, "My Flame,"
the only new song on her Greatest Hits: The First Ten Years CD. And yes, he is a guest
vocalist too.
Where is Gary Taylor from?
Gary Taylor is a native of Los Angeles, CA and had the
opportunity to spend part of his youth in Milwaukee, WI. He prefers Southern California to
be near his family and friends.

Who is the inspiration for "Flirting With An
Angel"?
In Taylor’s own words: "I was having a drink
one night in an effort to clear my head from the day’s overload. I started talking to
this young lady who was standing near. Nothing will get my attention faster than an
intelligent conversation, that is, unless you couple that conversation with a pretty smile
and a soft but clear voice. I was so blown away by the presence of this woman I cannot
remember what we were talking about. All I know is she walked away without me getting a
name, number or anything else. I was left with just the memory of her having been there. I
really fell in love with the notion that I was capable of loving a total stranger. I never
wanted to lose that feeling. So that night, I started the song. Though the lyrics
represent many women who have passed through my life, this one particular woman was the
embodiment of all things I love in a woman. For anything to be that strong… she had
to be an Angel."
